We seek a talented and dedicated Native Mobile Application Developer to join our team in the Durban, Umhlanga, and Ballito areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality native mobile applications for our company`s products and clients` needs.
- Design and build native mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, including product managers, designers, and other developers.
- Maintain and enhance existing mobile applications by addressing bug fixes, performance improvements, and updating applications to the latest SDKs.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications, including thorough testing and debugging
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and application performance.
- Maintain clean, well-structured, and easily maintainable code.
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop applications that meet their needs.
Skill Requirements
- Proven experience as a native mobile application developer with a strong portfolio of Android and iOS applications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, C#, Flutter and Dart
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity Microsoft AzureExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Qualification Requirements
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA)
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools
- Experience in unit testing, UI testing, and test-driven development
